I have just been forced to change my BT billing account password (not the email password) after a timed lockout message (too many logins) even though this was my first login for three months. Anyway, after completing the change successfully my email login on Web, Outlook and iPhone all failed. Again a lockout message and after waiting I tried my new BT account password - this worked.
I note that BT has an announcement "We're making some changes to your email login"
Just what is going on - until today my billing account and email passwords were independent? Has anyone else seen this behaviour?
And all the links on the announcement go to the same page and are no help at all.
