Trash folder has hidden messages?

I empty my Trash folder but it says there are still 3 files in there, but not visible in the folder. Any advice please? Thank you.

Hi @Loveleecat, sorry you're been shown that 3 messages still exist after you've entered the folder. 

If you haven't checked on webmail please login www.bt.com/email and check if it shows there and if so do the emails show there for you to delete or are they just' ghost' emails.

Just checked via the link you sent, emptied the folder and it now says there are 10 "hidden" messages.

Hi John,

The message reads "The file type (.docx) is not supported."  The bit in brackets changes according to what format I am trying.
