Norton was the problem. Ad Tracking had to be turned off - Problem solved. As far as VPN all I can say I for one have automatically turned on. It is supposed to protect you on line with your emails, ensuring privacy, not a fad for me.

A VPN can protect from your ISP sniffing, but it does not encrypt email content. The email server and every computer connecting to it can still read the emails in plaintext
