hacked email accounts

My email account has been hacked and I have lost emails in inbox since last October, all my personal folders and contacts.  Can they be retrieved?

If they are not showing in any of the folders when you log onto your email account via a web browser it means that they are no longer on the BT servers and they can not be recovered.
