Yes it has. You will need to sign in after each session.
Ah yes, another improvement to the BT Email "service".
Folks complained that ticking the "Keep Me Signed In" box didn't work, so BT removed the option altogether. No more complaints! 👍
It's nice that they listen to their customers
Have to sign in every time, keep me signed in does not appear?
It has been removed by BT and there is no indication that it will be returned.
They have not stated why but it is most likely a security issue because it is not a great idea to have your email account constantly logged on leaving an open connection that could be exploited.
Many thanks
A bit inconvenient but makes sense.
It may be better security, but I've now just about given up on BT email. The website is so slow, it's embarrassing for a tech company like BT. I now don't have the choice of staying logged in for a week or so. And, even worse, the sign-in page only allows me to enter my email address, then click on a button and wait for the website to respond and allow me to enter my password. Why not allow entry of email address and password on the same page, like most other email systems?
I have no idea why folks use webmail. Use the proper tool, a free mail client such as Thunderbird, EmClient or even the inbuilt Windows Outlook and all the problems disappear.
Serious question. Why is it your preference when it is so dire and the alternative is far superior?
