Hi,
I'm hoping a moderator can help with an ongoing email delivery problem.
I run a small business and a large number of my clients use btinternet.com email addresses. For some time now, my business email ( ******* via Google Workspace) has been blocked when sending to any btinternet.com address. I worked around this by using a personal Gmail account (*******), but that is now also being blocked.
The bounce error for both is:
554 Message rejected for policy reasons (2.1.2.3)
Remote-MTA: dns; mx.bt.prod.cloud.openwave.ai (65.20.50.207)
Diagnostic-Code: smtp; 554 Message rejected for policy reasons (2.1.2.3)
Status: 5.7.0
These are individual, legitimate business emails — not bulk mail or marketing. Neither address appears on any public blacklist (I have checked Spamhaus and other major lists).
I have emailed [email protected] but it got bounced back with "550 Message rejected for policy reasons (1.1.1.2) on 2026/08/13 14:44:38 BST"
I have seen in previous threads that moderators have been able to investigate and resolve similar issues by having email addresses removed from BT's internal spam/filter list.
Would a moderator be able to look into this for me? The two addresses that need unblocking are:
1. ************
2. *************
Any help would be hugely appreciated.
Many thanks,
Paul

as a business customer you need to post here https://business.forums.bt.com/ this forum is for residential customers
Thanks although one of my email addresses now being blocked is not a business account?
the mods do not have account access so you need to continue contacting the postmaster
Apart from breaching forum rules, I strongly recommend you delete the email addresses unless you want to attract more spammers than you can deal with.
Edit: just noticed time of posting, too late to edit will ask mod to edit.
