554 Message rejected for policy reasons (2.1.2.3) from standard Gmail address
I am hoping that a Community Moderator can help me with an ongoing email delivery issue to all btinternet.com recipients, even including [email protected].
Every time I try to send an email from my personal @gmail.com address to any btinternet or btopenworld email account, the message is immediately bounced back with the following error code:
"554 Message rejected for policy reasons (2.1.2.3)"
This is a personal, standard Gmail account (not a business account or a bulk mailing list), and I am only trying to message regular personal contacts. It appears my email address has been flagged by BT's automated filters. Since the blocks are happening across all BT recipients, my contacts cannot fix this at their end.
Could a BT Community Moderator please look into this and help me get my standard Gmail address cleared or whitelisted from the central filter? I am ready to provide my full blocked Gmail address via private message as soon as a moderator is available to assist.
Thank you for your time and assistance.

Re: 554 message

The forum moderators no longer have any account access.

You will need to keep trying repeatedly to contact the BT Postmaster at [email protected] until you do get a reply. They are not the fastest at responding but they do eventually reply to requests for assistance.

If your gmail account gets bounced when trying to contact the postmaster you could set up another free email account to see if that gets through.

Re: 554 message

Many thanks, shall do. Seemingly eventual outcomes are not always noted on these threads - accordingly will endeavour to update in due course.
