Attachment problem

I have recently switched Broadband providers but still use BT Basic Broadband however I am now finding that when

I try to attach a file to an email I get the message "We are experiencing issues with the service, please try again later."

Has anyone else experienced this?

Re: Attachment problem

Hi @SWincham

Welcome to our community.

How have your speeds been since moving, are they around what you were expecting?

Have you had any other issues with connections other than when attaching a file?

Re: Attachment problem

Speeds are fine, it's just difficulty attaching files

Re: Attachment problem

@SWincham Just to confirm you are accessing your email using the email link in the top right of the BT website?

Have you been able to test on other browsers and devices to rule out any potential issues there? And have you tested attaching different files to make sure its not just a problem with a particular file?

Re: Attachment problem

Have you tried clearing your web browser's history and cookies?

When you do that make sure that you select the option "Clear All Time" if your browser offers that option.

If that does not help try turning off your BT hub for about 30 minutes. When you turn it back on it will have been issued a new IP address and hopefully connected to a different email server which may not have the same issue.
