Email locked but unable to unblock

Thanks in advance for any help offered.

I received an email advising that one of my email accounts has been locked. Following the help guidance, I have gone into "manage my email" to unlock it but the email is not listed in the list of email accounts. It says there are five email accounts but only four are listed.

I have not been able to talk to any support personnel as there does not seem to be an option for email support only phone and broadband.

Any clues where I can get assistance?

If the email account has been locked you will most likely need to change the password for the account.

Us a web browser to do this and if you have any email apps on other devices turn them of or stop them from trying to access your email account while doing this.

The easiest way to change the password is to go to the BTMail logon page, use the "Email" button at the top of this page, enter your username and then click on the "Forgot login details" and follow the prompts.

This will allow you to change the password and you should then gain access to your email account.

Once you have gained access to your email account you can then change the password to the "new" password on the other devices that you use to access youremail account.
