It's not clear if @PETER_DANT is referring to webmail which obviously doesn't or the BT mail app which does.
I was referring to the BT Email APP and not Webmail…..
I was advised by BT to look at my PROFILE picture and click on it !
Check that your email address is correct
Make sure that FIRST name is correct
Make sure that LAST name is correct
That seemed to cure the issue BUT it still does it !
Uninstall the BT mail app and use a proper one.
I suggest you refer to messages 21 and 23 on this thread.
BT need to get their act sorted. They block whole ranges of IPs and never reenable them. I am sick and tired of having to turn off wifi on my phone to send an email. FIX IT BT.

Please can you say what you mean when you say "they block while ranges of IPs"?
Also how does turning off wifi on your phone specifically help? That doesn't alter any IP address for your wifi.

Presumably when he turns off his wifi on his phone he then starts to use the mobile network on 4/5g rather than his home network. This will use a different IP address than his home network and the mobile network's IP address would appear to allow the emails to work.
