Re: Managing BT Email now migrated to EE

Exactly the same problem with mine. Both me and my wife unable to access email on our iPhones. Something has changed with the account. So much for being a seamless transition to EE. Nothing but issues so far.

That is because they knock you down to basic access only via the web. Something else that isn’t shouted about when they are persuading you to move to EE.

I have seen absolutely no reason to move voluntarily to EE. It just seems to cause problems, and cost more for facilities I don’t need.

You are NOT moved to BTMail Basic when you move to EE. If that does happen it means there has been a problem during the migration and it will be resolved if you contact BT.

Re: Managing BT Email now migrated to EE

Hi,

I get exactly the same problem as the first poster, message to say I'm not the account holder and a link that goes to page no found!  I still have access to my emails on all of the addresses but not the management of them ( I wanted to delete one and create another) I noticed as well that I've been given a new account number for just my BT Emails.

Being as the first post was about a year ago I would have thought it might have been fixed by now!!

cheers

Jim

@coleyjf  I moved from BT to EE a few weeks ago and had problems on the accounts side, but the physical move of broadband and telephone went through overnight without any problems. All the account problems were sorted with some before and the others after migration following various phone calls. The last being not able to administer the BT emails via my BTID, which was the same as you with “I'm not the account holder”. But this was sorted quickly following a phone call and the guide was aware of the known problem and passed it on to back office support.

I forgot to say I phoned  the BT support on 0330 123 4150 to get the email sorted.
