Re: New Email Format
Don't like the new format, however it workable. Biggest issue is that text very frequently jumps back to the beginning of the message - this is very annoying and should not be happening. How to solve?

Re: New Email Format
- Agree with the jumping of the cursor
- Very slow indeed
- Search facility for emails very poor
- Losing emails
- Frequent requests to log back in
- Helpdesk call said "we have no problems, please try removing all cookies and enter mail through bt.com portal
- Terrible jumps in font size as if each new paragraph was an indent in MS Word
- Very clunky management of emails
- Don't try filtering by day or priority - murderous
Otherwise perfect (LOL). This introduction is absolutely disgraceful. But if you switch, beware, BT won't transfer your email history....
Good luck going over the top, men, as they said in Blackadder.

Re: New Email Format
As I keep saying to no avail, I have no idea why you don't just use the right tool for the job instead of the bodge of webmail.
Thunderbird and EmClient are free to download and install and will give a far superior interface.

Re: New Email Format
Thank you very much Liqorice!
I’m thinking using those browsers will not lose me my BT emails and contacts. Beginners’ question I admit.

Re: New Email Format
You can export your contacts from webmail and import them into Thunderbird or EmClient.
It's not an either/or situation, you can use webmail as well as mail clients. If you configure the clients as IMAP, everything is always in sync.

Re: New Email Format
What about it?
Easily done with a mail client.

Re: New Email Format
Now the text on incoming emails is broken up, so words at the end of each line are cut randomly and carried over on to the following line so reading has become a syncopated experience. Have tried in vain to rectify, increasing and decreasing the size of the page, gone to full page, different views ... nothing works.
Aaaargh!!!
