I've used Outlook desktop for years to send and receive email, but recently it stopped working. Having deleted and reinstalled it now sends but won't receive. I can't seem to access the server setting
As a test I have tried the Apple mail app and it works perfectly.
I dont want to recreate my complicated folder system so getting BT to Outlook working again is critical.

If you can't access the server settings the problem would appear to be with Outlook rather than BT, particularly as Apple Mail works ok.
I assume you are a BT broadband customer or paying for Premium Mail. If neither, you account will have been downgraded to Basic Mail which won't work with Outlook in any case.

I have premium mail. The web mail works fine as well so I suspect you are correct this is an Oultook issue
