I have a btinternet.com email address. Could someone please advise/confirm the correct procedure for reporting phishing emails that are constantly arriving in my 'spam' folder. Should they be forwarded to phishing@bt.com, or to report@phishing.gov.uk (or both)? Does anyone actually DO anything with regard to blocking the senders, or is it just lip service?

Re: Phishing emails
Both, but my opinion is its a waste of time.

Hi @partyanimal,
Welcome to the Community!
We would recommend forwarding this to phishing@bt.com and we also have more tips on what you can do to keep yourself protected, and what we do to keep you protected.

Re: Phishing emails
@Rach_H Thank you. I'm very conversant in the ways and means of protecting myself from scams. However, I have been forwarding spam emails to phishing@bt.com for a month or so now without knowing if it's worthwhile. I really just wanted to know if any action was being taken by BT to block these senders or remove their domain names altogether. If it's a case of swimming against the tide, I'll save myself the trouble in future.

Re: Phishing emails
The team do look into all the emails they receive, and work with website owners, domain registrars to prevent this happening @partyanimal, but I can understand your concern, if this has been ongoing for some time.
