I'm just going out, but will try and set up a new email address and password later today.

You need to remove your email address. It is against forum rules to post it.
I've edited my message, is that sufficient? Or do I need to edit further?
Personally I would say it should be completely removed as nobody on this forum has any idea of who you are and I would advise against contacting you because of that.( EDIT: See following message).
I have informed the moderators regarding your posts and if they would like your assistance I am sure they will contact you via this post with direction as to how the contact will be made or what I would suggest you do is to contact the BT Email Team directly by calling BT 0330.1234.150 and ask for the email team.
My caution was for users security but I have now carried out a web search on your username and I can see that you are indeed with Firefox. With that in mind I will leave it up to users to use their own judgement whether to contact you or not.
You can use the PM messages sytem within the forum to make the first contact rather than posting personal details on the open forum.
Understandable! It's of course very difficult to make ad-hoc correspondence, I understand the concern around user safety.
The BT contact number is a UK phone number - if they won't help let me know and I will see what I can do.
@keithamus Welcome to the Community!
We have recently banned an account claiming similar which may have also been you, as typically these forums wouldn't be where we would expect a company representative to reach out to us.
I can say with certainty that our email team are working on a fix for these issues, but these fixes tend to be incorporated with wider updates to the platform, so aren't always immediate.
I've also done some research and can see your website and Bluesky etc, and the Mozilla email address also helps verify.
At the same time though I'm sure you'll appreciate we need to be extremely cautious of anything that could be perceived as attempts at phishing, as protecting our members is our top priority.

Thanks Peter!
That was my colleague. I'm sure it's uncommon to have company reps reach out. At Mozilla we're working hard to minimise the amount of issues are users run into, hence the outreach. I understand it's a little unorthadox and I understand the security concerns, and tried to navigate this as delicately as I could. I for sure don't want to risk any of your members.
It's great you're working on these issues. Let me know if there's anything we can do on our end to help. You have my email if you wish to reach out 😉
