e mail client outlook 365

I have been using Outlook 365 for many years with no problems. However 2 weeks ago it suddenly stopped working and then without me doing anything I started receiving e mails. Last Friday it stopped working again and so far has not restarted. I can get my e mails through Web mail and also via Outlook for Android. The error message indicates server cannot be contacted. Any help would be appreciated.

Have you tried to remove and re-add your BT Mail box to Outlook365? The server settings are on this page. With it working on your other Outlook app it does suggest there is no issue with your account preventing it being setup with a third party mail client. So it is worth trying to set your account back up making sure it matches the correct server settings to see if this resolves the issue.

Thanks Alex. Lo and behold this morning I'm suddenly receiving e mails again without me doing anything. Goodness knows what the problem is!!!
