Except fibre to the Home doesn't come from the cabinet.
True, not the same cabinet as the FTTC service but the OpenReach guys pointed out another newer cabinet where the FTTH service was to be muxed ....well maybe I was told incorrectly.
I think we are both in line about the Premium misnaming though !
Never had many Email issues when I had BT Broadband.
As per my other recent post - I'll see how things go after my account is Reset (or as the Support guys said 'recreated as a Premium User'.
The fact that Outlook works with other IMAP servers is not relevant. It is how it works with BT servers that is relevant.
I think you may have been given a load of flannel about your account be "recreated as a Premium user".
