From other posts I would suggest you try changing the batteries in the phone as that will probably solve problem
You would expect so but given the number of posts on the forum regarding dead batteries, it doesn't appear to be the case.
These handsets are completely hopeless. I had to get a replacement after my fist one just went bat crazy. This new one was ok for a few months but is now doing the same. Quite literally useless. Can't answer a call without it going into its song and dance and then going dead. Click answer phone and it goes into its song dance. And yes, I am tech savvy and all should be ok in terms of set up. These handsets imo are just garbage.
The handsets are not universally hopeless, I have had mine for about 2 years and they work perfectly with the original batteries still.
Whilst there have been a few complaints of problems, the forum hasn't been inundated with posts of problems and you have resurrected a one year old thread to complain.
