BT cordless phone to Smart Hub 2

Go to solution

I have a Cisco handset with an Ethernet connection to my Smart Hub2. It works. I bought a BT cordless digital phone, registered it on the hub but whatever I do it will not activate. Message is no internet connection. BT help gave the following advice which I find ludicrous:

would like to inform you that CVE/CV does not support any 3rd party phones (even if it has been bought off the online BT Store) as the mac is added to the portal via the order journey. Someone may risk adding it manually, but we cannot guarantee or support.

 Grateful for insight into what should be a simple connection.

@Dice

You cannot register DECT phones to the BT business Smart hub.
