BT handset HD voice

Hi, I have 3x HD voice handsets that have all been working. Recently one of them can still dial/send calls but when a call comes in the phone starts to 'synchronise' and cannot be used. I'm at a loss as to how to rectify this issue. Any similar experiences? Thanks

Re: BT handset HD voice

Probably the batteries. Try replacing them with non-rechargeable to verify its the problem, but don't place the handset on the charger.

Hi, I've changed the batteries with new ones and again the same issue  has occurred.

Where they decent alkalines rather than pound shop specials?

Re: BT handset HD voice

As @licquorice said, failing batteries is the usual cause of this symptom but the temporary swap to alkalines usually proves the case. It's possible that real cheapies might also not have enough current to deal with a  ringing phone, but Duracell should be fine. You could always swap a set from a working handset to be sure.

Oh & check the contacts in the battery compartment for any signs of contamination or corrosion.
