BT premium phones

Hi 

I have been changed to digital voice by my provider (zen). I have BT premium cordless phones as I need the nuisance call blocking option. Since the changeover I cannot answer any calls. The phone rings out but when I press the green button I just get a dial tone. I have to end with the red button and then call the caller back. Obviously it’s less than ideal. The system works with a Gigaset phone so the problem is related to the BT phone. Thanks

Welcome to this user forum for BT Retail phone and broadband customers.

As you are a Zen customer, please could you post on their forum, as its likely to be something to do with the way their digital voice (VOIP) system works with the BT phones.

We have four BT Call Guardian cordless phones plus a BT years old cordless phone plus two non-BT corded phones & they all work exactly as they did before we changed to full fibre with Digital Voice.

We just plugged our phone extension socket system into the SH2 phone socket & everything worked straight away but of course you may not have this option with Zen.

This is the reason we changed providers to go with BT.
