Call Protect

My Mum has been receiving lots of nuisance calls so yesterday I set up Call Protect. I read up on it as far as possible as I will be doing it through her BT account for her as she has poor eyesight.

Will her phone ring as normal? I don't want to cause her more problems as she gets so anxious having to do new things and I'm not in the room with her!

I've read and reread the user guide but can't find an answer so any help gratefully received.

@Cybersig

You may not find call protect that effective. A better option is a call blocking phone like the BT4600, which eliminates all nuisance calls by forcing them to announce themselves, which they never do.
