Re: Cancel digital voice

@imjolly

For clarity, I have 6 months to run on my current Part fibre contract with DV. However BT have offered me a new 24 month contract for a full fibre product. What I want is the new 24 month contract to be without DV as  we never make landline calls and the only incoming are spam. Doesn’t sound too unreasonable but it seems it can be achieved once the change over to full fibre is completed. To address your comments I will be ending my existing contract and I am taking up a new 24 month contract with BT. Hope that makes it clearer. Happy to post the outcome on here in a couple of weeks time.

Re: Cancel digital voice

As promised here is the update to my previous posts. OR changed our cable to full fibre yesterday as planned. Change over took just over 3 hours due to a slight problem with the cable duct being clogged with soil. Quickly sorted. Very impressed with the OR team, kept me informed of progress, placed the ONT  exactly where I asked. Very neat and tidy installation both inside and outside. Speed to the hub varying at the moment between 800 - 900 Mbps.  Speed at the devices over WiFi on SH2 varies considerably depending on which complete WiFi hub it’s connected to. Some as slow as 20Mbps others in direct line of hub up at 560 Mbps. Not a big issue for me as main reason was to get a more stable 4K picture on TV via a Powerline which seems to have worked. Phoned BT this morning about removing DV. 15 minutes later…all done. Very happy about how it all went.
