Cease Landline when moving house having FTTP

Hi,

I currently have FTTP and have Digital phone service with voicemail extras etc. When moving to a  house which all ready has FTTP available, can I cease my digital phone part of my package and just continue the Internet service as I do not wish to have a home phone service? Can this be done without penalties?

Re: Cease Landline when moving house having FTTP

5his question has been raised and we are awaiting clarification from the mods.  At present ceasing your line will terminate your contract and start new contract.  Is your current calling package PAYG or 700 minutes or unlimited?

Switching to broadband only will save between £2 and £5 pm plus cost of calling package.  Line rental is included in your existing package

from a recent mod reply in another post they suggest discussing with value/options team regarding a switch to broadband only before doing anything else  0800800030
