I have just had Digital Voice activated which worked with my old phones. As my phones were quite old, I ordered some new BT Essential Home phones but am struggling to connect them to the router. The instructions say this can be done by pressing the OK button on the phone & then sync by pressing the WPS button on the router, but there is no OK button on my phone. I must have a newer version of the phone, as the handset manual shows different button layouts from the handset!

There appears to be two versions.

Go to Menu > settings > DECT settings> registration
No need to use WPS button on hub
Thanks but there is no such setting on the phone.
Are you sure you have the right phone?
It should be a single phone with no separate DECT base unit, as the BT phone descriptions are very confusing.
Here are the other confusing ones, which are not the right ones.
It has a base unit.
It has a base unit.
You have purchased the wrong phone system. Its not a Digital Voice phone.
That can only be used by plugging the base unit into the phone socket on the back of the BT Smart Hub 2.
Its probably no better than the phone you already have.
That's not a DV phone. BT have the stupidest of stupid ideas of calling 2 things the same name.
Just plug the base unit into the green socket at the rear of the hub.
