Just do a quick internet search for an adaptor. Plenty come up for just a couple of quid.

An unused microfilter can be used, if your phone has an RJ11 plug. It does not matter if its plugged into the broadband side of the microfilter, as that is simply a straight through connection.

This seems a bit odd as it must have had a BT431a plug to connect previously. So I'm wondering if this is a newly acquired phone, possibly IP as you mention RJ45. So what phone is it exactly?

Its probably supplied to suit all phone systems with a suitable adapter.

Normally one is supplied in the box with it and is actually shown on their page, so perhaps you have discarded it by mistake?

As I have mentioned, an unused microfilter would do the same job.

Assuming that you bought if from a retailer, it should have the correct connector supplied. I'd suggest querying that with them. Otherwise just look for an RJ11 to BT adapter or as previously suggested, an old microfilter will do the job, albeit a bit clumsily.

If you have old equipment laying around with an RJ11/BT cable you could try that in place of the new cable. It will either work or not, but won't do any harm.

Looking at the user manual for that phone I do see a note saying

Please note that the Amplicomms PowerTel 196 Amplified Telephone is not supplied with a BT splitter cable.

So a BT to RJ11 adapter will need to be used. If you have a microfilter as @Keith_Beddoe has suggested give that a go. Otherwise you can find a BT to RJ11 adapter online

It does show an adapter in the box, but a splitter may be referring to a dual outlet adapter which allows two phones to be plugged into one socket.

Hi, Thank you for your reply, I am pretty green with this stuff, I take it you mean plug a microfilter into the hub then plug in my phone, I have tried that with an adaptor would that not be the same
