Corded Decor 1200 phone won't work....

I have just converted my mother's system to Digital Voice......but when I plug in her old BT Decor 1200 corded phone into the green router port it won't ring out. It will receive calls. This is a problem for her. Sher is not good with the cordless phones . She is 93. Help please.

Its possible the old phone has a three wire connection and the ringing needs to come in on the third wire.

If you have a spare microfilter that you can plug into the green socket, and then plug the phone into the microfilter, it may solve the problem.

The microfilter has internal components which will put the ringing current out onto the third wire, so the phone should ring.
