Digital Voice Phones

I have just signed up for Digital Voice.  I understood that you could get one Advanced DV  phone with built in Alexa or 2 Essential DV phones. I was only given the option of  the 1 phone with the built in Alexa. I would  have preferred the 2 Essential phones. It says in the BT shop that the Essential DV phones have been discontinued. Does anybody have anymore information on this?

if shop says discontinued it appears advanced only now  you can still buy both kinds on ebay either used or new and not expensive
