Hello there. Just wanted to say that I renewed my phone & broadband contract a few days ago. Meant going digital voice. No prob, removed phone cable from wall socket and plugged into BT Hub. Works but caller ID gone. I phoned BT and they made adjustments at their end and half an hour later, all good again. Upstairs landline phone not working though. BT sent me a DV adapter which sorted it, however, the phone wouldn't ring. Fitted a broadband filter between phone and adapter and works lovely now.
Just thought the above may be useful, as I couldn't sort any of it out initially. Went on line to be told to erase and re enter all phone contacts to make CALLER ID work. No that didn't work. You need to phone BT and they will sort it quickly. The ringer on upstairs phone not working but online you'll see to add a filter. Something to do with a two wire line and the capacitor in the filter.
Anyway. Hope that helps someone.
