I've just switched to the new hub BT sent out and my Panasonic KX-TG8521 DECT phones won't ring for incoming calls. I've checked all the settings on the phones are correct -and not muted or turned down. I had an old microfilter from before a new twin socket was installed a few years ago and tried placing that between the hub and the phone connection but no joy. Outgoing calls, broadband and wifi all seem fine. Any suggestions before I report a fault to BT?

Well, I can confirm that the Panasonic should work. (I have a KX-TGA6624EB quad set that’s been working fine with DV for the past two years).
If it has only just been switched over night, it might be worth leaving it a little bit longer but it sounds as though there is a misconfiguration with the DV, (Digital Voice), so I would phone it in to customer services as a fault.
as you don't have a BT DV phone can you check in MYBT products and manage phone that 1571 is not set to auto answer so call going direct to answering machine
Thanks very much, you're quite right! Just after reading your message I tried the phones again (12 hours after installation) and they ring.
If only BT had thought to include that advice it would have saved me a few hours of hunting for manuals and triple checking configurations and settings last night.
Thanks, imjolly -that was a very good idea. Time seems to have solved the issue though, as above.
