Digital voice handset upstairs rings then when you pickup from charger you can't answer the call. In display it says searching for hub. Other hand set down stairs working OK. Both handsets are about 8 metres from the smarthub2
Anyone had this issue, started about 2 weeks ago?
I am having the same problem, both handsets are only a few months old. Says searching for hub then synchronising handset then dead 😞
Change the batteries.
Odd that batteries failed in both handsets at the same time but you don't know how long they have been on a suppliers shelf. Powerful 2500 mAh AA NiMH batteries from Duracell will give more talk time away from the charger. However, BT should send you replacements if less than a year old. If new batteries doesn't solve the problem report them as faulty.
Life is too short to try and get replacement batteries from BT
