Hi,
I am mid contract with BT. I was given 4 days notice of a switchover to Digital Voice over 2 weeks ago. Ever since then I can only make outgoing calls but not receive any incoming calls. I’m using my relatively new DECT Panasonic handset and base station plugged into a Smarthub2.
I’ve had weeks of promises that it will be fixed in 2-4 hrs and it never is. It has been raised internally by the “offline” team but I am still no further forward. The broadband works fine and speed is good and all their checks etc show no other problems but they agree they can’t get through either.
They think it is a porting issue even though I have had the same number for years.
Can any of the mods look into this please as I’m not getting anywhere it seems?!!

I am sorry for the problems you're having receiving calls since your move over to Digital Voice. I appreciate the amount of time you've spent on this already speaking with my colleagues in the helpdesk.

Update - mods were quick to help and it seems I have to continue to wait for the processes at BT to sort this out...
This was resolved eventually yesterday by issuing a new number to me.
