Got digital voice but just realised i'm not recieving incoming calls. Was pushed into getting it and didn't want it for this very reason as i live on my own. Tried to login to my bt account to see if it shows activation but even that's down tonight.
Can you make calls when connecting phone to green socket on back of hub? Have you tried a factory reset of the hub to see if that helps? Anyone phoning you needs you use full phone number not the local short code.
I can make outgoing calls and i reset the router. Got my sister to call me and she hears ringing but obviously i dont as incoming calls not working from my end
Even if the phone doesn’t ring, have you tried answering the incoming call. Assuming of course you are by the phone that’s plugged into the hub when someone is calling you from a mobile stood next to you. If you see what I mean…
No i havent and i cant see incoming calls as i just have one of those old phones with big numbers. I dont have a mobile or i'd try it like you said.
Do you happen to have a micro filter lying around? You could try plugging that into the hub’s green socket and then plugging the phone into the micro filter. Then get someone to call you. It may work.

Hmm.. sounds like a call to BT in the morning then. May be a configuration error when the service was transferred. At least you can make the outgoing call!
Just thought, if you dial 17070 does the lady say the correct number? Or is it something completely different?
Yep oddly enough i can login to my bt account but if i click on track my order or billing i'm getting a maintenance page saying were launching something new and will be up and running soon. I just wanted to track my order see if it said anything but i'll phone them tomorrrow sought it out.17070 gave correct number and said press 1 for ring back but didnt work.
Of course, sorry forgot about the ring back test. A senior moment! But at least you’ve discovered it and done all you can to try and sort it yourself.
Probably due to the lateness of the hour for the billing/ order enquiry. Perhaps some background maintenance going on.
Hope you manage to get it sorted. Once DV is up and running properly you may be surprised at the improvement on the quality of the call. Even on a basic phone like you’ve got.
