Get An Old Number Back

Go to solution

Hello,

I sold a property about 18 months ago and have been out of area. I'm now going to be moving back to the same area, so will need a new landline number. The number at the previous property had been there for over 20 years, so is one that is now easily remembered by myself and relatives! It's still inactive, so would appear that nobody has yet claimed it.

Would there be any way to get this number back when I move back to the same dialling code area?

Thank you

@xdx04

Welcome to this user forum for BT Retail phone and broadband customers.

As its been inactive for more than 28 days, then its not possible to recover it.

All new phone connections are delivered using BT Digital Voice, as no more analogue connections are allowed.
