Hello,
I got an email from BT about my landline going over to DV. Problem is, I sent my phone back to them 2 weeks ago as I changed my contract and no longer need it.
Will it affect the broadband when switchover day comes and I don't have a phone to plug in? I only use broadband and my mobile for calls.
Thank you.

anyone with DV can ( if they wish ) chose not connect a phone , you may receive a few emails /texts reminding you to connect a phone but you can ignore them .
Presumably the notification you gave that you are changing to a broadband only service and don’t need telephony, was after the migration to DV was set in place …not connecting a phone won’t affect your broadband , although anyone calling your old number (for a while) may get RTNR , ringtone no reply , or their call goes immediately to voice mail that you won’t be able to pick up .
Ah thank you!
I was debating just buying a phone and plugging it in if it was going to affect the broadband.
Appreciate your answer!
