At the end of last year I switched to Full Fibre and while going through all the details was advised of call charges. Engineer came and set up everything and the landline was working, then a few weeks ago my parents tried to call to get nothing. I phoned BT who advised me that with Full Fibre you get no landline and have to pay extra (at no time was I told i would lose my landline). I agreed and got 2 new shiny digital phones sent out. I called to ensure I would get my old number to be told it would not be a problem as its a BT number and has not been reallocated but that they would need to send in a request. Nearly a month later from my original request I still have a different number and have been told today that I cannot have my old number back as its been too long - yet the number is with BT and still unallocated. I have been waiting for my doctor to call as they have my old home number. I am disgusted with BT and have logged complaints for each one to not be addressed but closed out?? I want my old number back
Hi, @Jules73 welcome to the community and thanks for posting, I'm really sorry about the problems you have experienced when trying to get your number back. Have you spoken to the FTTP team on 08005874787 as they are the specialists in this area?
Thanks
Neil
