International Freedom text message seems odd

Hi,

  I got the international freedom add on on the 29th of last month and have, so far, used just over 300 minutes of it for the month. However, i got a text message by landline(!) today, telling me that I was about to hit my monthly calls limit and it would be updated on the 22nd. Afaict, i should only be about halfway thru my allowance for the month. Does anyone know what the truth of this is?

The allowance will run from your billing cycle, the day your bill is produced the allowance resets, everyones billing date will vary, if you're unsure just look at www.bt.com/mybt and see the dates you're billed from.

yeah, i don't doubt that it runs from the 22nd. i'm more worried about my allowance running out before then when i'm only halfway thru it.

If you do exceed the 10 hours, you then get a discounted rate which is what Friends & Family International pay, you can see the price per minute  Here
