Are B T allowed to disconnect your landline before they install fibre. I have been waiting for at least 3 months for fibre to be installed. Today I find they have disconnected my landline yet they still can’t install fibre until the 13 November. I have no mobile signal where I live and because my wife has health problems I need to be able to call relatives on a regular basis for assistance. I have spoken to BT about the problem but they refuse to reconnect my landline. My bills are always paid on time yet they have still cut me off but still expect me to pay in full for a service they no longer provide. Surely there is a law against such underhanded practice?
Hi @Benjib
We know how important it is for our customers to be able to stay in touch, so I can appreciate how concerned you must be about your line being disconnected.
Were the team able to give you any information about why this has happened sooner than expected?
