Hello
We have a BT 2200 landline phone, up until a few days ago it displayed a call list. So either a caller where we did not answer or a caller where we did. Now it has stopped. Everything else works ok.
Has this got something to do with this digital voice? Only our contract changed in August, we stuck to everything we had before, but do we need to do anything else?
I have tried BT, but there are far too busy.

Caller ID seems to get disabled when moving to Digital Voice for some bizarre reason best known only to BT. You can enable again it in MyBT.
Have you just moved to digital voice and this problem coincided with the change ? ( so immediately after the change to DV ? ) , if you were already on DV for weeks or months or years and the phone problem has just occurred, or you are not yet on DV , then DV can’t be your problem.
What changed in August and when in August ?
How do I change it in myBT please?
As you need to move your phone from the phone socket on the wall to the phone socket on the router to use DV , I’d have thought that you would know when you moved the phone cord from one to the other
It is plugged into a device that connects to the router. Not the phone socket. Also the light does not flash to indicate a message anymore.
Is the device you are using the free DV adapter supplied to BT? Hae you tried connecting phone direct to socket on back of hub to see if it works there
Yes it is. I can connect it to the router, but will has it changed now?
Last post is a bit vague, but will has it changed now?
if your phone isn’t working as you would like , when connect via a DV adapter to the hub , as it’s a cordless phone anyway ( a DECT cordless phone ) why are you using an adapter in the first place ? , plug the phone base unit into the router , no need for an adapter at all , a DV adapter is basically to enable a regular wired (corded) phone is wired to an extension socket that isn’t near to the hub to be able connect to the hub via DECT (not WiFi as many think ) so the now redundant extension wiring can be abandoned, as your phone is already cordless, a DV adapter simply adds in unnecessary complexity in the way the phone is connecting to the DV service.
