Lost Landline due to upgrade to cloud

My Parents were forcibly made to change to the new cloud system and have subsequently lost their land line. They have now been without this for nearly 2 weeks. Aged 85 & 76.

Calling BT numerous times as well as their Reginal Sales Manager is proving useless.

What a disgraceful service from BT, you should be ashamed of yourselves.

I would like to know what can be done please

When you say your parents have been "forced to change to the new cloud system" do you mean their landline has been changed to digital voice (DV)?
If so, have they removed the phone plug from the wall socket and plugged it instead into the socket on the back of their broadband hub?
If they've done this and still say they have no landline what are the symptoms? Is the phone completely dead, or do they have an "interrupted" dial tone (which sounds a bit like the old engaged tone).
If they're getting this interrupted dial tone, they just need to key in 1571, listen to the "Welcome to Digital Voice" message, and their dial tone will return to normal.

Thanks for your reply. Yes, they have been changed to DV.

They did divert the LL calls to a mobile but that lasted only 48 hours. Since then the LL was either constantly engaged or now nothing.... No communication from BT at all despite them chasing nearly every day. Their  local BT Regional Sales Manager has admitted that there is an issue, now he is avoiding our calls. 

Its appalling service for a 'communications' company

You haven't answered the question as to where the phone is currently plugged into, the normal phone or the rear of the hub.
