One BT 4600 handset doesn’t work. If you press Green it says “playing” and then plays a message from 14 Feb pm and doesn’t let you do anything else. I have removed the batteries and put them back and nothing changes. Cannot see how to reset the handset. The other handset is working perfectly.

The first thing to do is to power down the base unit for about a minute, so the handset link is re-initialised.
If that does not fix the problem, then try the helpdesk.

That also doesn’t work. I cannot access the menu. If you press any button it goes to the answerphone message.
