Mix and Match Handsets

I expect shortly to be moved to Digital Voice. I understand entirely about plugging my existing dect base station into the green socket  on my SmartHub.

However my dect base station serves four handsets, and my question is whether that imposes a limit on the extent to which, if at all, I could add any BT DV handsets?

As the base stations all use DECT they would be expected to work as they di currently as long as the "Main" phone is plugged in to the Smart Hub 2

You can mix and match existing handsets and DV handsets at will. However, there is no connection between the 2 systems. I.e you can't answer on one and pick up the call on the other.
