Thanks, I will try that tomorrow when I go to my father in laws.
Make sure its left enabled on MyBT. Its possible it may take a few hours for any change to take place.
Unfortunately, I do not know how its implemented on DV, as I was only involved with PSTN, and that was fairly short, when BT had the idea of making everyone multi skilled 🤣
For anyone looking for some bedtime reading, I can across this Ofcom consultation for CLI https://www.ofcom.org.uk/siteassets/resources/documents/consultations/category-2-6-weeks/106361--gui...
Hi All, for information I tried power resetting the router but the issue still remained. I gave BT faults a ring and it appears that very occasionally when a line is migrated to digital voice the caller display service is not activated, so you will need to ring BT faults and they will raise an order to provide caller display free of charge and this will sort the issue. My father in law has now got his caller display back on. Many thanks, for all of the previous advice and help, Nigel
