Old BT telephone equipment removal, multi unit

Hi there,

Residents association has recently redecorated common areas.

There is some redundant BT connection boxes (pictured) , old landline by my estimation. Connected to outside via multistrand cable.

Who is responsible for their removal? Or who can I call out ot remove and terminate? Are there any considerations (live wires) etc?

Who provided the phone service for the association?

Its possible that some of connections are still live, and connected to the Openreach external network, so you may have to ask Openreach to remove or relocate them.
