As we have our own answerphone I have set the number of rings on the BT digital voice system to the maximum of 10 and switched off call waiting. However on a random basis callers get either the call waiting message with a beep on our phone or are sent to the BT voice mail rather than our own. Any reason for this and how do we sort it out? Also concerned that there might be messages on the BT voicemail that we are unaware of, how can I check and access these?
