I am looking for a VOIP phone that I could use with BT. I would like to use bluetooth to connect to my hearing aids via a bluetooth adapter. I cannot tell if BT 'Essential' or 'Advanced' have that ability. Hoping someone here would know or could point me in the right direction?
Neither BT phone has bluetooth & there are no other wireless compatible phones, assuming that you have Digital Voice?
If so, you would need to research a generic DECT set & plug the base station directly into the back of the SH2.
The BT Digital Voice advanced phones have some settings like ringer boost and ability to change the tones but no feature to pair hearing aids over Bluetooth.
If you already have specialist phones with this feature you can continue to use these with BT's Digital Voice service by plugging the phone into the green phone socket on the back of the smart hub or using the Digital Voice adapters
I believe that you should be able to pair DECT handsets other than the normal BT DV ones with the SH2. That means it might be possible that a DECT handset that supports Bluetooth can be used with BT DV. There will be a restricted set of functionality - exactly what will vary depending on the handset.
I don't have an SH2 or DV so cannot give any examples. I am sure there are some posts on here from people who have paired some non BT handsets with the SH2 - just can't find them at present.

Amazon list a few DECT phones which claim to have bluetooth but I suspect that the base station would have to be plugged in to specially provided socket on the back of the SH2 (which is very likely concealed by a removeable sticky label) instead of pairing the handset (with the SH2).
