Transfer of existing number on move

Now that I have DV if I move house, still with BT but geography a long way, can I take my existing number with me. If I can does this have to be an area that has already changed to DV.

Yes you can, the move to DV means numbers are no longer restricted to the exchange and can be retained when you move house.
