Can I transfer my landline from Virgin Media to my BT account?
Virgin want silly money and I really want a landline

do you have BT broadband or just an old BT account from previously. you need an active BT broadband to get digital voice
I have an active BT account, just for broadband
I called and was told I would have to cancel my Virgin subscription to move my landline to BT
I need a landline because I have almost no mobile signal in my house
I don't think you can just add a landline to your broadband only package so would need to start a new contract for broadband and phone which should be about £3/5 more than broadband only that is only PAYG or you can add an unlimited calls package to your broadband and phone
as existing customer try retentions and see if they can help 08007831401
Thanks, I discussed moving my whole system over to BT but once they added channels etc it was more expensive than Virgin and only for one outlet
So what do you currently have with Virgin if you already have BT broadband, you presumably have VM TV as you say BT/EE can’t match the price, but do you have VM broadband and VM phone and well as the VM TV (so two broadband services ) ?
If you add telephone to to your existing BT broadband are you going to keep the Virgin broadband ?
My Virgin 18-month renewal is going to nearly double the price, so I contacted them and their best price for landline, internet & full tv package was about £120 a month
When I asked BT it wasn't far off the same, I have two internet feeds because of my work
I managed to get Virgin down to a sensible price, so I'm staying with them, thanks for all the help
