Voice messages deleted but displayed on handset

Hello,

I have a BT Essential Home phone - I am on Digital Voice.

I had three voice messages - now deleted. However, my handset still displays three voice messages.

I know this question was asked before in this forum, but the suggested solutions did not work. This is really annoying. Would anyone know how to get rid of this display?

Thanks.

I have this same issue. This is not a digital issue and was ignored by another user in 2022

Thank you very much for your reply.

I am afraid I don't understand what you mean? I would be most grateful if you could explain? Does it mean that nothing can be done about it?

Thank you.

Re: Voice messages deleted but displayed on handset

Hello, I've scrolled thru this forum and another user queried the same issue in 2022, with no results (my own handsets have the same issues as yours). The chat bot picked up your mention of 'digital voice', which is unconnected to the issue, but no human seems to have an answer. Very frustrating!

Re: Voice messages deleted but displayed on handset

Hello, many thanks. I appreciate it very much. So, we are in the same boat. Yes, very frustrating - all the more so that BT is not helpful at all considering that it is their own product. All the best.

Re: Voice messages deleted but displayed on handset

Hi @ew7 & @mica123 I'm sorry the handset is still displaying them after you've listened to them. Have you also deleted them in the 1571 options? If deleting them hasn't worked you may need to do a reset of the handset/base as per the instructions on page 25 of the userguide?

Thanks

Neil
