The Base Pin is printed on the sticker on the back of the hub, it’s not 0000 mine for eg is 8 characters made up of of numbers and letters

An old thread but, to avoid confusion for any new readers, the 8 character password printed on the back of the hub is the Admin Password - it is NOT the base pin, which is a 4 digit code, normally set by BT as 0000. Anyone who has changed this PIN should be able to access it again to change it back to 0000. Also, resetting the hub to its factory settings (by a prolonged press on the recessed white button at the back of the hub) will also restore the PIN to 0000.
